Do you know your lyrics??

Drew singing in the backseat of the car to "Row, Row, Row Your Boat"...

"Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the sta-weam
Mary Mary Mary Mary
Light-ning McQueen!"

Madison Zoo

We took a family adventure to the Madison Wisconsin zoo yesterday...what a blast:)- We took Aunt Joanie & Cousin Maddy to meet up with Cousin Amy & soon-to-be hubby, Justin, to celebrate their engagement. We had gorgeous weather just right for a picnic in the park & lots of time walking around the zoo looking at all the animals. Teegan practically slept the entire day & made the trip very easy on us:)- Which, by the way, in 3 weeks since his birth, Teegan has gained 2 lbs and now weighs 9lbs 8oz and has grown 3/4 inches...holy cow:) No wonder I am exhausted!!

Favorite Cousin

Drew has an absolute adoration for his cousin, Madison..aka, "Mannie" :) I just had to blog this picture that was taken of Teegan & Maddie because I think it's already obvious she will now have two little boys taken with her!! :) I always tell Drew, "I know how much you love Maddie but just remember you can't marry her!" :) Seriously, I wonder if he thinks about it!

2.5 weeks old

Teegan has been a wonderful addition to our family! He has the sweetest personality & literally sleeps away each day:) Sleep & eat... that's him!! Big brother Drew absolutely adores his little brother & just wants to hug & kiss him all day long:) Sometimes we have to redirect him because he loves a little too rough:)

We were blessed with so much family help and support during the first few weeks & now are officially on our own:)- We're going to spend Thursday together as a family at the Madison zoo!! Kind of our first family 'outing'!! We will also be spending some time with my cousin who recently got engaged - YEAH:) Love weddings!!

Also GREAT news is Mitch's one year probation on Dubuque Fire Department is OVER & he has been offered a permanent spot on the department - Praise God!! What a relief:) Great job on all your efforts, honey!

Enjoy the photos & more to come...
