Due Date

Well, I am officially due tomorrow, July 13th! AND, I am getting induced in the afternoon:)- I have been avoiding the topic of induction because I truly thought I would go naturally when he was ready; however, my boys apparently both like to stay as long as possible & need a little encouragement to come out!! (hopefully this isn't a sign of what's yet to come...LOL). At my appointment last week when I, once again, denied wanting induction, my doctor sat both Mitch & I down & relayed some concerns she had with me continually waiting to deliver...some included: big baby, history of Drew's broken collar bone in delivery, etc... so after some deliberation over the weekend, we've both agreed to proceed with a scheduled induction.

I have mixed emotions going into this. I, physically, am very ready to NOT be pregnant anymore:) I would love to reclaim my body as soon as possible. But I find myself very emotionally up & down today, which I know is normal. No one around here is letting me clean or do anything (which I can't stand sitting still!), so I just find myself running a million different scenarios through my head which is beginning to drive me crazy.

So I'm spending my time getting my iPod all ready, blog updated, bags packed & spending time with family travelling to be a part of the joyous addition to our little family of 3:)- I hope tomorrow is relaxing, enjoying some lunch & quiet time with family/friends before heading to the hospital. I will keep updating as the new crazy schedule of a newborn will allow:)

I've attached my last prego shot taken last night at my girlfriend's baby shower - you'll see there's 4 of us friends all pregnant, due within 8 weeks of each other! That was fun:)-

Finished project

So Mitch & I stayed up until midnight finishing our beautiful kitchen - a team effort:)- It was great working together & as Mitch said, "It was a nice holiday home project." So enjoy photos...

I am just completely exhausted these days... working full-time yet & staying on top of all normal day-to-day activities has me wanting bedtime about 6p. We're just praying for a delivery soon:)- My parents drive in tomorrow & will be staying into August - cannot wait! We have LOTS of boating, pool, ice cream, pizza, etc fun ahead of us!! Whoa whoa - summer:)

Remodel

So we have more remodel projects that Mitch has taken on:) Despite working the last 72 hours, he decided to add our kitchen backsplash - yea:)- Here are some pictures of what he completed today!! I'll post more when finished... you're the best, babe:)-

Happy 4th of July!

Wishing everyone a Happy 4th of July!! Firefighter Drew says, "Please be careful this holiday weekend!" :)- Maybe some fireworks will spark some labor for me...haha!! It was a nice thought anyway.
