My new normal...
Around this time with my pregnancy with Drew was when every day seemed a little more uncomfortable...and it's proving itself true again this time around. But now I am busy chasing after a very active toddler in addition:) So I now find myself getting the 'restless legs' around 7pm with the only soothing 'treatment' of a hot shower, and then another around 1a, finally becoming tired at 3a. And 6:30a with Drew comes around way too quickly! I wonder if the Lord causes your body to go through these stages for a few weeks in preparation of the restless nights to come?? :) I guess it would make sense! I just keep praying for the Lord's grace because I am utterly exhausted most of the day. 5 weeks seems so far away yet...

Beach today
This is how we'll spend most of our days from here on out...coolers, beach toys, and LOTS and LOTS of sun! Drew was the typical "ladies man" walking up & down the beach...he found a group of about 6 women that would let him eat out of their coolers because he was 'so cute'. So whenever he felt like he needed a refreshment or snack (of course other than those provided by mommy & daddy), he'd make his way down to the pretty girls in bikinis...o boy:)

34 weeks...
We had our 34 week appointment today with Dr Mehta & were able to enjoy another ultrasound of Baby Teegan:)- He is continuing to measure large - but healthy:) He's currently weighing 4lbs 9oz (70th percentile) and will start gaining 1/2 lb per week starting in a few weeks. So it's safe to say that he will be nothing shy of a big boy:) Due to him being large, my dates are more like the beginning of July rather than the original 19th. We're praying for labor to begin naturally, as I don't have a peace about being induced. So please keep us in your prayers about that.
Drew has been enjoying the beginning of summer weather & getting outside in the sprinkler. We also spent our first family night on the boat tonight. Unfortunately, it was cut short due to impending storms, but got us out enough to get away. He's keeping busy learning all the ropes of becoming a big brother...pushing a stroller, wrapping the baby, swinging the baby, etc. He's going to be an awesome big brother:)-
I've attached some of the ultrasound pics from today. The 3D are difficult to be completely clear due to what they call "ultrasound in real time." So you'll notice that it seems part of his face may be cut off, or other parts aren't completely visualized, but it's due to his movement. We still think he's absolutely beautiful & perfect:) So excited to meet this little addition to our family.

My birthday week in review
I had a wonderful birthday week this past week:) I was treated to yummy snacks and flowers at work, a facial and shopping day with my mama, a day getaway with my amazing husband, and a fun family day in the Quad Cities today. It was the best week I could have asked for & feel completely refreshed and ready to head into another work week.
Drew has also had a big "life changing" week as he was moved into his BIG BOY, BIG BROTHER room:) He is so excited about the sports theme & kept saying, "I love it! Mommy, I love it!" :) So sweet to see him changing so much everyday & growing into such an adorable little boy. Next move...putting the baby's room together...
My mom has been an amazing help to us as my dad's been travelling for work in Germany and UK. We couldn't have done half the house work that needed to be done without her - thanks, Mimis!!
My first bonfire in my backyard!

I LOVED surprising mommy with a birthday cupcake!

Oh, this isn't helping with making puppy chow??

A peek at his new bedroom...

We love our Big Papa!

Mother's Day
Today I am so grateful to celebrate this day as a mother of soon-to-be 2 beautiful boys, but also thankful for my own amazing mother. We had a wonderful day just enjoying each other & of course...good food:)- Drew was adorable running around the house saying, "Happy Mother's Day" to any woman that looked like she may have been a mommy:) So cute! And I was SO grateful to have someone take a picture of me & Drew finally - I find that I never have any pictures of us together because I am always behind the camera, which is great, but was nice to have one of us together too!! :)

A sad day...
Well, we had sad news visit our house today. Drew's first fish, appropriately named "Fish" by Drew, took the Porcelain Express:( Mitch found him sucked up in the filter...how traumatic:) So, off to Pet Smart for another 27 cent goldfish:)-
Onto better news. I have pictures to post!! :) I promised they would come once I was relaxed with my semester ending, which it OH SO DID!!! :) And thankfully, I pulled out with the grades that I was striving for!! And now I'll enjoy two semesters off to enjoy each and every minute with my growing family!
I am now measuring 30 weeks pregnant and am starting to feel 30 weeks pregnant:) I have difficulty sleeping at night with restless legs, etc... all the pregnancy joys towards the end. Here are some belly shots (my first ones this pregnancy! Wow, how things are different with the second pregnancy). P.S. I told Mitch not to get my face in the picture because I had a rough day at work:) HA!!

And here's some other recent fun photos!!
