Need a laugh??

So it was lunch time & I found myself at the deli bar making a sandwich. A random woman, whom I've never met nor seen before, approaches me and says, "Ah, you must be on Weight Watchers too! How many points is the bread?" .... Need I say more?!

Baby Update

We had my 20 week appointment yesterday & all is going well! The baby's heartbeat is now in the 140s (down from the 170s) and strong!! I've been feeling the baby kick for about 2 weeks & Mitch is thrilled because it's strong enough now that he can feel it too! Drew was a great big brother & handled all the 'procedures' well:) He loves coming with mommy to her appointments because he gets stickers!!

So...next month comes the BIG news:) Keep posted...

Weekend recap

So to recap our last week & weekend...

Drew: Countless hours of playtime that was so overdue:) So thanks to Mimis, Pappy, Papa, Big Papa, Grammy, VeVa (aka. cousin Ava) and everyone else involved! He just couldn't stop smiling and giggling...it was so great to see him with everyone we love:)- Now, just GOOD LUCK to daddy for the next few days trying to live up to all his little expectations from the last week!

Mitch: Has had a wonderful week of vacation and still has a few days to go... he's done projects around the house (THX, babe!) and enjoyed spending quality time with the fam as well!

Me: Had a nice, low-key week at work last week which allowed me to spend good time with the fam as well! Now just 'back to reality' with a REAL work week, REAL schoolwork with REAL due dates... ha:) That's okay! It helps me to appreciate the low-key days all the more:)

Baby: Has been kicking mommy now for the last week n daddy felt it last nite! How exciting to see the growth (literally!) already:) Half done!! ... and then there were 4!!

Some bonus exciting news! Mitch's sister, Sara, got engaged over the weekend! We couldn't be happier for her & her fiance, Jim. We love them both & are so thrilled they've found eachother. So we'll be celebrating with them the Summer of 2011. Just another goal for me to get skinny quick:) CONGRATS, guys!

Weekend, here we come!

We have been blessed with such a wonderful week and upcoming weekend this week:) My parents drove in from Pennsylvania last Sunday and have been staying with us...which equals wonderful homemade dinners, sleeping in, and fun fellowship for all!! Drew doesn't really ask mommy or daddy for anything this week...it's "Mimi's!! Mimi's!! Mimi's!!" Because obviously, we would never give him the answer he's probably looking for:)- And he's getting plenty of horseback rides from pappies!! So we have all enjoyed the company & variety to our schedules. I've been blessed that our office has been unusually slow this week, allowing me to only work 1/2 days pretty much all week... so I've enjoyed the slow pace & just being to hang out with the fam:)

And this weekend, we're off to the Quad Cities to spend some more wonderful family time with the Williams! We're so excited to, again, be blessed with such awesome people to hang with. It will be full of good food, fun shopping and an awesome church service. We always look forward to these weekends away:)- So Papa, Big Papa...here we come!!
