37 weeks
Well, only three weeks until my due date!! We are more than ready for this little man to present himself:) The room is ready, diapers are stacked, and we have loaded up on wipes:)- I had Mitch take some photos of me because I'm not sure how much longer the belly will be here! He's been very active & I've been consistently contracting throughout most days. And Big Brother, Drew, is more than ready to meet "Baby Tee-Dan."
Dr Mehta said she would put me on the calendar for an induction if I haven't delivered by July 14th, but I've prayed & sought the Lord for what He would have me to do... & I feel I've been given the answer to not be induced & let Teegan come when he's ready! So please pray with us that he comes naturally & is born without complications.
I will try to blog again before, but ya just never know at this point! Will keep ya posted:) P.S. Had to add a cute picture of daddy, too!! :)-

These days
These days have been very hectic for all of us!! Drew was just getting used to beautiful summer days on the beach and at the pool, but now that's been spoiled with nearly two weeks of rain:( And poor Mitch is just trying to keep up with the crazy lawn due to all the rain!
I have another doctor appointment this week (which my mama will be joining me for since Mitch is busy) and boy, do I have questions!!! I feel like I need to sit down & write them all down so I don't forget:) Dr Mehta usually scolds me at my visits because I tend to 'diagnose myself' and not call her office. She will usually glance over at Mitch like, "Have this woman call me!!" :) But with the Labor & Delivery background, I find that I can figure out what's going on - except this last month. This child has me completely confused...and sometimes tearful:) It's so crazy how two pregnancies will be so completely different! So Dr Mehta, you should be proud of me this week - I WILL be coming with questions:)
This last weekend was spent in the Quad Cities. We had several parties to attend & made another family weekend out of it! Sorry there are no pictures, but my camera battery had died. Drew found himself playing in the rain A LOT, bouncing in a garage bounce house, and roughing around in "mud clothes" all weekend! He had a blast! He was almost comatose while sleeping that I put my hand over his nose just to verify that he was still breathing:)- Don't we LOVE deep, sleeping babies!! :)- But myself, on the other hand, found myself contracting through the weekend. Mitch & I did some shopping Saturday & Sunday that was consistently stopped by contractions. Mitch, being the wonderful attentive husband that he is, wanted to immediately stop & return home so I could put my feet up. ME?! I was like, "No way! I'll breathe through it. It will stop & then we can keep shopping!" :)- Hey, we don't get much alone time shopping, so I wasn't going to let some contractions stop me:)
So now I'm back to work sitting in my chair with my feet (literally) up! All the memories of the final days of pregnancy have quickly rushed back to me - especially the pain of a contraction! "Oh yea, I do remember them hurting this bad" :) God is so gracious to have the mind completely forget the pain of childbirth!
This week we're also blessed with the return of my mom. She & I are in a wedding this coming weekend & have lots of fun 'girl time' scheduled! Can't wait, mimis!! And to make sure Mitch isn't left out, he's getting some guy time in too! :)-

My new normal...
Around this time with my pregnancy with Drew was when every day seemed a little more uncomfortable...and it's proving itself true again this time around. But now I am busy chasing after a very active toddler in addition:) So I now find myself getting the 'restless legs' around 7pm with the only soothing 'treatment' of a hot shower, and then another around 1a, finally becoming tired at 3a. And 6:30a with Drew comes around way too quickly! I wonder if the Lord causes your body to go through these stages for a few weeks in preparation of the restless nights to come?? :) I guess it would make sense! I just keep praying for the Lord's grace because I am utterly exhausted most of the day. 5 weeks seems so far away yet...

Beach today
This is how we'll spend most of our days from here on out...coolers, beach toys, and LOTS and LOTS of sun! Drew was the typical "ladies man" walking up & down the beach...he found a group of about 6 women that would let him eat out of their coolers because he was 'so cute'. So whenever he felt like he needed a refreshment or snack (of course other than those provided by mommy & daddy), he'd make his way down to the pretty girls in bikinis...o boy:)

34 weeks...
We had our 34 week appointment today with Dr Mehta & were able to enjoy another ultrasound of Baby Teegan:)- He is continuing to measure large - but healthy:) He's currently weighing 4lbs 9oz (70th percentile) and will start gaining 1/2 lb per week starting in a few weeks. So it's safe to say that he will be nothing shy of a big boy:) Due to him being large, my dates are more like the beginning of July rather than the original 19th. We're praying for labor to begin naturally, as I don't have a peace about being induced. So please keep us in your prayers about that.
Drew has been enjoying the beginning of summer weather & getting outside in the sprinkler. We also spent our first family night on the boat tonight. Unfortunately, it was cut short due to impending storms, but got us out enough to get away. He's keeping busy learning all the ropes of becoming a big brother...pushing a stroller, wrapping the baby, swinging the baby, etc. He's going to be an awesome big brother:)-
I've attached some of the ultrasound pics from today. The 3D are difficult to be completely clear due to what they call "ultrasound in real time." So you'll notice that it seems part of his face may be cut off, or other parts aren't completely visualized, but it's due to his movement. We still think he's absolutely beautiful & perfect:) So excited to meet this little addition to our family.
